SUPERSONIC TRANSPORT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. PHASE 3. BOEING MODEL 2707. MODEL SPECIFICATION

Abstract

This specification defines the Boeing Model 2707-100 Intercontinental Supersonic Transport powered by four engines manufactured by General Electric or Pratt and Whitney Aircraft, and is designated 2707 (GE) or 2707 (P and W), respectively. Differences associated with the use of either type of engines are also noted herein. This specification is submitted in compliance with Part 1A of Exhibit 3B of the Federal Aviation Administration's Request for Proposal for Phase 3 of the Supersonic Transport Development Program. The production configurations described herein are the basic intercontinental airline models. This specification has been arranged in a typical commercial format.
