SUPERSONIC TRANSPORT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. PHASE III. BOEING MODEL 2707. LANDING GEAR SUBSYSTEM SPECIFICATION.

Abstract

This specification defines the objectives, criteria, and configuration, and establishes the requirements for performance, design, test, and qualification of the Landing Gear Subsystem for the prototype model supersonic transport airplane. Differences between the prototype and production Landing Gear Subsystem shall be as described. The subsystem defined herein consists of the landing gear structure, shock absorbers, wheels, brakes, tires, brake control, steering, extension and retraction, and position indication and warning, and is compatible with System Chapter 32 of Air Transport of America Specification No. 100.
