SERVICE TEST (AIR DROP) OF OVERHEAD ATTACHMENT KIT FOR CH-47A HELICOPTER.

Abstract

Testing included trailing static lines and deployment bags; delivering 17 dummies by parachute; towing one dummy simulating a towed parachutist; and delivering 156 personnel, with and without combat equipment, by parachute. The Overhead Attachment Kit was suitable for the delivery of personnel by parachute using the procedures developed by, and on file at, this Board.
