QUANTITATIVE SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF POLYNITROAROMATIC COMPOUNDS BY REACTION WITH ETHYLENEDIAMINE,

Abstract

Polynitroaromatic compounds may be analyzed spectrophotometrically by reaction with ethylenediamine in dimethylsulfoxide. The procedure may be applied to many polynitropolyaromatic explosives. The structural relations leading to the observed spectra are briefly discussed. (Author)
