TEST SET, DROP SHOCK WOX-126C,
Abstract
A portable free-fall drop tester is described. The device weighs 45 pounds, has a 15-inch drop height and a payload capacity of 2 pounds. Its primary use is to check shock transducer calibrations in the field. Shock pulses up to 1000g peak and 1 ms duration and plastic impacts of 9 fps and 3 ms duration are produced. (Author)
