Abstract

In accordance with criteria established by DIA, equipment listed includes items such as stereoplotters, photogrammetric rectifiers, comparators, diapositive printers, etc., which pertain particularly to the various map compilation processes. One of the thresholds for exclusion states that, 'an equipment under a $2000 cost will be excluded unless it is specially designed and produced exclusively for cartographic use.' (Author)
