FEATURES OF THE MIP-12-24 TRANSISTORIZED TELEPHONE SYSTEM WITH TIME DIVISION,

Abstract

A detailed description of the transistorized MIP-12-24 telephone system, with 24 time-divided channels. Special attention is given to the generation of the sampling pulse, the frequency division from 48 to 8 kilocycles per second, the generation of the synchronisation pulse, the conversion of amplitude modulation into position modulation, and automatic phase control.
