ON THE INFLUENCE OF SMALL AMOUNTS OF SUBSTITUTIONAL ELEMENTS ON RECOVERY RECRYSTALLIZATION AND INTERNAL FRICTION OF HIGH-PURITY IRON. NOTE III.

Abstract

Continuing the research work on the effect of small amounts of substitutional transition elements on recrystallization, recovery and grain boundary relaxation in iron, data obtained for a new set of iron alloys containing Co, Mn, Ga and Ge (contents ranging from 40 to 1075 atoms per million) are reported. A discussion concerning also the results previously obtained (for alloys with Ti, V, Co, Ni, Cu) is given.
