Abstract

The report provides a detailed description of XPE, the experimental post-editing system which was developed to determine the feasibility of machine-aided editing and automatic recomposition of edited text. During the contract the decision was made to emphasize the evaluation of editing techniques rather than formatting aids. (Author)
