RESEARCH ON THE ELECTROCHEMICAL OXIDATION OF HEXANE AND ITS ISOMERS.

Abstract

The mechanism of the anodic oxidation of saturated hydrocarbons on Pt electrodes in 12M H3PO4 at 130 degrees C has been investigated. Experimental techniques employed involve transient measurements of adsorbate coverage and currents, and steady state rates of hydrocarbon oxidation. (Author)
