CB DEFENSIVE FIELD EVALUATION MODEL (FEM).

Abstract

The report describes the work performed to determine the most feasible concept of a CB defense field evaluation model (FEM) based on cost and availability of existing facilities, instrumentation, support equipment, and site location. In this study a specific area (identified as Range 51 of the Eglin Reservation at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida) was initially designated for the eventual construction of the proposed FEM facility. The report presents the results of the study utilizing this primary site for location of the FEM. During the course of the study an alternative site, designated as Field 4, Eglin Air Force Base Complex, was assigned for consideration and evaluation. Results of the alternative site study are contained in an appendix to this report. (Author)
