DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS AND EXAMPLES OF ANALOG MEMORIES WITH 2 MICROSECONDS SAMPLE TIME AND INDEFINITE HOLD TIME.

Abstract

Describes the design and construction of a fast, accurate analog voltage sampler and memory with a large number of fixed discrete storage levels and an indefinite hold time. Where more than one memory is required, the design of the system makes it possible for several independently operated memory channels to share many of the same circuits. The system design is conservative and can easily be extended to tailor a particular memory to differing specifications. A complete analysis of various design criteria outlines the procedure for optimizing performance for a given application. (Author)
