DATA SURVEY REPORT FOR SYCAMORE TEST STAND S-1 BLOCK II TESTS,

Abstract

Missile 9A at Sycamore Test Stand S-1 is the last of the Series A captive missiles to be tested with the NAA B-2C booster engine. Block II was comprised of four tests, some of longer than full duration to accommodate autopilot testing programs. A total of 498 seconds of booster engine run time was accumulated to provide the environment for testing various missile systems and components. The primary areas of test interest centered about the flight control system, accessory power supply, telemetry system, missile component vibration and missile bending response during programmed gimbaling.
