MISSILEBORNE TELEMETERING, RANGE SAFETY BEACON, RANGE SAFETY COMMAND, DOVAP, AND AZUSA ANTENNAS FOR XSM-65C,

Abstract

The report describes the radiation patterns and impedance characteristics of the Azusa antenna subsystem carried aboard the XSM-65C missile. Radiation patterns are presented for both the before- and after-staging (booster separation) conditions. The operations of and interconnections between the telemetering, range safety beacon, range safety command, Dovap, and Azusa antenna subsystems are discussed. (Author)
