INVESTIGATION OF C225A OUT-OF-SPECIFICATION (MODEL SPECIFICATION) TRANSIENT CONDITIONS.

Abstract

The Wing VI Minuteman Guidance and Control Systems and the C225 have experienced a high failure rate in the operational environment. Preliminary analysis indicated the possibility of transient effects to be one of the major contributors. A Minuteman Wing VI Operational configured test site was used to conduct tests to determine if the C225 was susceptible to transients. Results of the testing indicate that the transient conditions are not of such a nature to cause damage to the C225A. (Author)
