NATURAL BENDING MODES OF THE XSM-65C MISSILES AT VARIOUS INSTANTS OF FLIGHT,

Abstract

The note furnishes the free-free bending vibration modes for the XSM-65C missiles. The data presented is required for stability and loads investigations in which the effects of missile elasticity and vibration are important considerations. The bending modes for the XSM-65C missile tabulated in this report reflect a revised propellant sloshing analysis and a 33 mass station solution. An addendum is also included in which the bending vibration modes are presented for the fully tanked XSM-65C missile cantilevered at Station 1200. (Author)
