NOMINAL 18,000-BTU/HR COMPACT HORIZONTAL AIR-CONDITIONING UNITS.

Abstract

The report describes three compact, horizontal, nominal 18,000-BTU/hr air-conditioning units. They are base mounted, air-cooled, and charged with monochlorodifluoromethane (R-22) refrigerant. All three have electric motors but with varying characteristics: 230-volt AC, single-phase, 60-hertz; 208-volt AC, 3-phase, 60-hertz; and 208-volt AC, 3-phase, 400-hertz. All units are uniform in size, weight, and capacity and are suitable for applications requiring large cooling capacities in small, compact envelopes. (Author)
