A PLANNING AND DESIGN STUDY FOR AN AIR/SEACRAFT MOTION SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED HUMAN FACTORS EXPERIMENTAL PROGRAM. VOLUME I: MOTION SYSTEM AND TOTAL FACILITY DESCRIPTION.

Abstract

The program was concerned with the planning and design of an Air/Seacraft Motion System Facility and the Associated Human Factors Experimental Program which would be required for the conduct of future experimental research as defined by the Air Programs Branch, Office of Naval Research (ONR). All necessary motion system design details were completed, the human factors experimental plan was completed and reviewed with the ONR human engineering staff; and a master schedule presenting all future refurbishment, fabrication, checkout, and operating activities was defined as part of this program. All of the above stated information and data are included in Volumes I and II of this report. In particular, Volume I contains all information pertaining to the Air/Seacraft Motion System Facility. Volume II contains information pertaining only to the recommended human factors experimental program. (Author)
