BROADBAND LATCHING SWITCHES AND CIRCULATORS.

Abstract

The major effort during this interim consisted of investigating various latching designs for the 1-2 and 2-4 GHz circulators. A lithium ferrite was evaluated for application as a flux driver material and the results are reported. Work continued on the waveguide latching circulators, but the major emphasis was shifted to studying internal latching structures. Designs were arrived at in the 7.0 - 10.0 and 8.2 - 12.4 GHz band which each had 19.6 percent bandwidth. (Author)
