Abstract

The research and development program uses a modified version of the SM-65 Series D/R and D missile as a booster vehicle to launch a satellite vehicle from AMR. One of the subsystems which has been modified on the Series D/R and D missile for use on the program is the Range Safety Command (RSC) Subsystem. The primary purpose of this report is to provide the Directorate of Range Operations, AMR, with the necessary information on the missileborne Range Safety Command Subsystem. The secondary purpose of this report is to inform qualified personnel about the extensive operations involved in the range safety network. (Author)
