Abstract

The method of analysis was to obtain the effects due to each of the controlling variables for the missile, boom and launcher individually about the pivot point, load pts. 16 and 17 in the X-Z plane. They were combined into the four conditions to obtain all of the extreme loads for the erection system. The procedure was to take the method of analysis for every 10 degrees from missile horizontal to vertical, theta=0 degrees to 90 degrees respectively. There were a few special conditions to cover some of the redundant situations. (Author).
