FAILURE ANALYSIS OF LAUNCHER RELEASE CYLINDER, 7-89366,

Abstract

The Launcher Release Cylinder that was damaged on Pad 12 at AFMTC in Florida was examined. The release cylinder would not function because of a broken Locking Segment Screw.
