INVESTIGATION OF THE THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF ROCKET COMBUSTION PRODUCTS.

Abstract

A thermodynamic research program was conducted involving molecular flow effusion and mass spectrometric techniques for the reactions: CF4(g)-C(s), ZrCl4(g)-Zr, Cl2(g)-Zr, H2-Al2O3(c,1), D2-Al2O3(c,1), D2O(g)-Al2O3(c), O2-Al2O3(c), B2O3(g)-B(c), D2-B(c). These reactions yielded thermal data for: CF(g), CF2(g), ZrCl(g), ZrCl2(g), ZrCl3(g), BH(g), B(g), B2O2(g), BO(g), B2O(g), AlOH(g), Al2O(g), and Al2O3(g). (Author)
