THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE OPTICAL AND THE ELECTRICAL PROPERTIES OF IONOSPHERIC LAYERS,

Abstract

Comparison of photoelectric measurements made in Gotha with ionospheric data obtained from the Institute of Ionospheric Research in Lindau am Herz and the ionospheric station of the Heinrich Hertz Institute in Juliusruh/Rugen show no relationship between skylight polarization during twilight and the critical frequencies of the E-layer.
