SUGGESTED METHODS FOR IMPROVING ARMY AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHIC TECHNIQUES,

Abstract

The image quality of aerial photographs can be improved considerably by the judicious selection of films and developers that will yield optimum resolving power, film speed, and density range. This report compares the sensitometric and image quality characteristics of five different films in four different developers. Several film-developer systems are described that are suitable for rapid machine processing and for printing without the necessity for dodging with variable contrast paper. (Author)
