Abstract

A conference on 'Holography -- Recent Advances and Applications' was held 17-18 January 1968 at the National Physical Laboratory in Teddington, under the auspices of the Institute of Physics and the Physical Society of Great Britain (Optical Stress Analysis and Materials Testing Group). This report reproduces the outlines of the papers contained in the Conference handbook with the addition of some references and comments. The list of attendees at this meeting -- included in this report -- should constitute valuable source material for anyone interested in pursuing activity in holography, related optical measurements, and information processing techniques in the UK.
