RADIO WARNING SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT: FINAL REPORT SUMMARY.

Abstract

The report contains summaries of seven documents, as follows: two define the mission and operational requirements for the Radio Warning System (RWS) and the Decision Information Distribution System (DIDS). One is a cost-benefits analysis of six RWS alternative configurations. Three are cost-benefits analyses of the DIDS Control, Distribution, and Terminal Subsystems. One reports the results of a study to determine the effects of atmospheric noise on DIDS voice warning radio transmissions. (Author)
