INVESTIGATION COMMITTEE REPORT TEST STAND S2, RUN S2-219-C4-01. SYCAMORE TEST BASE, TEST DATE 28 AUGUST 1958.

Abstract

Run S2-219-C4-01 on Missile 1B was conducted at 1252 on 28 August 1958. Following a premature cutoff, a fire was observed in the thrust section. Post run inspection revealed an explosion had occurred in the Sustainer LO2 dome.
