XSM-65D AZUSA TYPE B COHERENT TRANSPONDER SYSTEM CHECKOUT DESCRIPTION AND PLAN,

Abstract

The document describes system acceptance tests required in checkout of the Azusa Type B Coherent Transponder (drawing number 26-10002-1). These tests are conducted after missile assembly in the factory area and also at the field test sites. When system checkout is performed at field test sites, a Missile Systems Checkout Trailer is utilized. In addition to the Azusa Transponder System, the trailer contains equipment for performing system checkout of all missileborne systems. The tests described herein are to be performed with the Azusa Transponder System fully integrated and in it's operational configuration. (Author)
