Abstract

This manual provides preliminary operating and maintenance instructions for erection of the XSM-65 B, C, and D series missiles in the tower, with holddown and release cylinders installed on the launcher. The missile and the attached trailer are erected in the tower as a unit; the trailer mates with the erector, and the missile mates with the launcher. Erection is concerned with the operation of all equipment required to raise and hold the missile in the launching position. (Author)
