USE OF CO2 FOR COOLANT DURING MACHINING.

Abstract

An investigation was made to evaluate use of CO2 as a coolant to improve the production of machined aircraft component parts. From the experiments conducted to date it is apparent there are certain advantages to be gained through the use of CO2 as a coolant while machining certain alloys.
