EVALUATION OF CHARACTERISTICS AFFECTING ATTAINMENT OF OPTIMUM PROPERTIES OF ABLATIVE PLASTICS - VOLUME I,

Abstract

This investigation was initiated to assess the influence of materials and processing variables upon the structural and ablative properties of reinforced ablative plastic composites fabricated by tape wrapping and pressure-bag curing and to determine the effects upon the resultant quality of nozzle components. Planned experiments were set up and the interrelationships of induced variables and resultant properties were established by statistical analyses. (Author)
