NORMAL VALUES FOR SOME CLINICAL BLOOD CHEMISTRY TESTS IN THE RHESUS MONKEY (MACACA MULATTA).

Abstract

Alkaline phosphatase, blood urea nitrogen, serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, creatinine, cholesterol, sodium, potassium, calcium, and cholinesterase values were measured in a large group of healthy rehesus monkeys (Macaca mulatta). These values can be used as baselines for drug or other experimental studies with monkeys from the local colony. (Author)
