MARINE SCIENCES IN ISRAEL.

Abstract

The report considers the scientists, the facilities, and the research interests in several institutions in Israel which have programs in the marine sciences. A general description is given of the newly developed marine laboratory at Eilat, Gulf of Aqaba, and the proposed plans for consolidation of marine sciences into a National Institute of Oceanography.
