THIN FILMS - NUCLEATION AND GROWTH.
Abstract
About 45 papers on nucleation and growth of thin metallic and nonmetallic deposits were presented at the Conference reported on. Various theoretical aspects, such as thermodynamic and atomic theories of film formation were presented. The essential features of characteristic experiments and the influence of substrate, vacuum conditions, temperature, deposition rate, etc., on structure and properties of thin films were discussed.
