FACTORY ACCEPTANCE TESTING OF MISSILE 27D,

Abstract

Test FC-4CO-01-27, conducted 15 July 1959, was the first composite test performed on Missile 27D. With the exception of the flight control system, satisfactory performance of all operating systems was evidenced. The sustainer engine remained at the positive yaw limit throughout the test. An open circuit was found in the test equipment, and proper sustainer engine operation was verified by a flight control rerun.
