SOLID PROPELLANT COMBUSTION: STATE OF KNOWLEDGE 1967,

Abstract

A brief review is presented of the combustion characteristics of solid propellants for rocket motors. The decomposition-deflagration characteristics of ingredients are described, and the general burning characteristics of propellants are reviewed, including the problems of ignition, combustion efficiency, and unstable combustion.
