RETROFITTED ELECTROLUMINESCENT RUNWAY MARKING SYSTEM (ERMS).

Abstract

The report covers an evaluation of the retrofitted Electroluminescent Runway Marking System (ERMS) which is a portable, lightweight airfield lighting system utilizing the principle of electroluminescence. The evaluation was conducted under combat conditions by the Army Concept Team in Vietnam to determine if the retrofitted ERMS is suitable for Army use in RVN. (Author)
