ATMOSPHERIC AEROSOLS BETWEEN 700 AND 3000 M ABOVE SEA LEVEL. PART II. A STUDY OF THE EFFECTS OF ATMOSPHERIC FINE STRUCTURE CHARACTERISTICS ON THE VERTICAL DISTRIBUTION OF AEROSOLA.

Abstract

The report contains a series of measurements of temperature, humidity, air conductivity and aerosol profiles taken from an instrumented cable car. Vertical-mass-exchange coefficients are calculated from time changes in the vertical profiles of RaB and particle concentrations. These exchange coefficients are related to stability energy and temperature gradient. The equipment and methods of analysis are also discussed. (Author)
