A METHOD FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF EFFECTIVE MOS CONTROL LIMITS.

Abstract

This paper presents the results on an analysis of the impact of random events on the planning and programming of military occupation specialty (MOS) strengths. A methodology and model are described that can be used by manpower planners for determining the level of school training required to sustain MOS strengths at a specified authorization. This analytic technique provides MOS production controllers with a method of establishing management control levels for exception reporting of understrength and overstrength MOS's. (Author)
