Abstract

Objectives: To evaluate the performance of a production model liquid oxygen tank boiloff valve with the valve in the vertical and horizontal attitude while installed on a tank of approximately 2500 cubic feet volume. Supply voltage from 25 to 34v DC and pressurization at ambient temperatures with helium gas. To evaluate the performance of a liquid oxygen tank boiloff valve as presented with modifications under both ambient and simulated missile temperatures while in a vertical and horizontal attitude.
