DEVELOPMENT OF FAST RISE-TIME PULSE PREAMPLIFIER FOR RADAR DETECTORS AND SIMILAR APPLICATIONS.

Abstract

Experimental results have shown that a fast rise-time pulse preamplifier can be built with a sensitivity of 20 nanovolts per root hertz at 1000 hertz, a sensitivity of 8 nanovolts per root hertz at 3000 hertz, and with a gain of 70 db, in applications requiring pulse or linear operation in the frequency range from 200 hertz to 1 megahertz.
