STUDIES OF PHASE-LOCKING IN GUNN OSCILLATORS.

Abstract

Results of domain triggering and single device locking characteristics for the domain mode and the LSA mode are listed. Array configurations were utilized to demonstrate multi-element locking. Phase locking transients were evaluated experimentally and theoretically for single device and array configurations. Average power outputs from a single device as high as 320 mw have been obtained as part of this program. (Author)
