CRYSTALLIZATION OF SUBLIMATED ANTIMONY LAYERS,

Abstract

Investigations of the conditions of formation and of the mechanism of the different phenomena occurring in the crystallization of sublimated antimony layers are reported. The special position of antimony is based on the fact that it is sublimated from the vapor phase first in a relatively stable non-metallic modification. The further behavior of the layer obtained decisively depends on the thickness of this layer.
