COMPARISON OF PERFORMANCE OF CONVAIR ASTRONAUTICS TRACKING SYSTEMS VERSUS SLANT RANGE,

Abstract

The tables indicate the bias and noise errors and the root sum square combination of bias and noise errors, expected from missile trackers using identical trajectory data. The trajectory used for the comparison is based on twenty points at ten second intervals. It is a simulation which has the general characteristics of the trajectory of a high performance missile. When considering the values in the tables the conditions stated in the footnotes are pertinent. (Author)
