ROTATIONAL FLOW FIELDS IN AXISYMMETRIC, SUPERSONIC DIFFUSERS,

Abstract

A program which solves the rotational flow field in an axisymmetric diffuser, assuming an adiabatic flow of an inviscid, perfect gas, has been developed for the IBM 704. The numerical methods developed and used in this program are described. Instructions for preparing input data are provided so that the program may be of general use. Some preliminary results correlating theoretical and experimental values were obtained in checking the numerical validity of the program. (Author)
