Abstract
The system description of COLEX, Part I, includes: (1) an overall flow diagram of the COLEX files and computer programs, (2) a general description of each IBM 7094 computer program, (3) a layout or diagram of each file generated by COLEX programs, (4) a detailed discussion of the design logic of the COLEX retrieval program, and (5) a general description of the request data analysis and summary program. Part II of this volume contains the COLEX User's Manual in its entirety. The manual provides a description of the COLEX system and instructions to assist the user in operating COLEX on the SDC/ARPA Time Sharing System (TSS) using the AN/FSQ-32 computer. (Author)
