RHEUMATOID FACTOR IN LIVER SHOWN BY IMMUNOFLUORESCENCE METHOD,

Abstract

In liver diseases and in chronic bronchitis the appearance of sera testing positive for rheumatoid factor is quite frequently noted. The presence of rheumatoid factor was demonstrated in the livers of patients with rheumatoid arthritis and in patients with liver diseases, with chronic bronchitis or with other diseases showing sera positive of the rheumatoid type. Results obtained in the study of liver biopsies investigated for the presence both of gamma globulins combined with tissue and rheumatoid factor are reported. (Author)
