STRENGTHENING THE ANTIGENIC ACTION OF SCORPION VENOM (ANDROCTONUS AUSTRALIS) BY VARIOUS ADJUVANTS,

Abstract

The use of adjuvants of oil-water emulsion type for scorpion immunization proved to be quite interesting and worthwhile, not only in increasing (exciting) the production of antibodies but also in guarantying their permanence. Their use reduces the toxicity of scorpion venom (A. australis) and, consequently, provides a broader margin in the choice of immunization doses. (Author)
