NEW SEROLOGICAL REACTIONS IN SYPHILIS

Abstract

The Nelson test was compared to the following reactions: the reactions to the lipidic antigens; the complement fixation reactions to the treponemic antigens, both pathogenic and nonpathogenic; and the immunofluorescence reaction. The sensitivity and respective specificity of these various reactions were evaluated.
